We feel that The Farmacy has the obligation to educate ourselves and customers on new issues that concern Cannabis.
These are exciting times for all of us. For our customers, we foresee a path for Cannabis products and brands that will satisfy every taste, all as a result of new technologies that are emerging and industries that will evolve to bring us better products time and time, again. Our industry will ensure that the Marijuana experience will keep expanding for all of us. For us in the industry, it means that we need to work hard to keep our practices standards high, and to ensure that Marijuana stays out of the reach of children, even if it means that, sometimes, we may have to curtail our fun, as advertisers and entrepreneurs. We think that this is okay, as long as we can enjoy the freedom of consuming the plant.
We also believe that Marijuana needs a new face. Of course we will never forget those who have kept the plant alive, so to speak, or those who have made legalization a reality, and which took decades to achieve. But, this fight means that we are now going "mainstream", with all the implications that this brings. One of them is image. And, this is where we need to improve as an industry. Consumers can also do some good in this regard by ensuring that:
**We do not over consume, or promote over-onsumption to anyone.
**Medical patients should never share medical-grade products with anyone who does not hold an OMMP card.
**All Marijuana products are kept away from the reach of children.
**We continuously educate the unfortunate people who do not know the benefits of cannabis, or who just simply never had the chance to experience its effects. Always start small. And Wait for the effects to be felt before consuming more.
Again, congratulations to all of us for achieving the the freedom to enjoy Marijuana, legally in the state of Oregon!
